PRESTIGIO FC
Prestigio was first established in early April 2008 by a group of football hooligans who have just ended their time and effort serving the nation. We decided to form up a football team as a mean of staying together through bonding. We started to test ourselves by organising friendly matches and started to recruit players. Unfortunately, some of our players had to leave the team due to work and family commitments. With 20 players currently, we have joined the D2D Sunday League for 5 seasons.
Having played in the league, we have tremendously improved and we have a good team spirit for glory. We will unite and fight, look to win every game, and always give our best on the field. So cheers to all players from Prestigio and other football lovers!

Prestigio vs Simpang FC

arguably the biggest match and will decide where will we stand in the title race. we've won them once and they will surely come back stronger to ensure we dont close the gap on them. not only us but many teams will be counting on us to win so that the title race is wide open. we win, and we will be just 3 points behind them with a game in hand. sounds good?
hopefully we will have a full strength squad going to this match.

we still think that we can win the title with 5 games to go, and just 6 points separating us and FC Simpang who only have 4 games left and yet to face us. the tougher challengers would be tempastella, who have 5 games left and yet to face us.
we need to keep on winning, convert our chances and defend well. right now, we still think that we should be included in the title race.

Prestigio were given a run for their money when the game ended 4-4 after fulltime. Prestigio played like men possessed and were the better team for much of the game. Lady luck deserted the underdogs during the penalty shootout..

After a disapointing weather for the last two games.. For two weeks our games have been cancel due to heavy rain. But that wouldn't demoralise the confident and hunger for glory from the Team Prestigious.

Yesterday's Results
Huat FC 2 - 3 Prestigio
scorers : Sadiq(2), Kecyk
assists : Azhar, Kecyk, Sadiq
it was a tough game. Huat obviously wanted to avoid another defeat to us. we started the game brightly, but lost our momentum after Huat scored a fluke goal. down 0-1 at halftime, everyone thought the same result is going to repeat itself.
a sterling and energized performance in the 2nd half saw our team hit full gear. Drogba hitting the post twice, jon hitting the bar from a free-kick. rusydi also came close from a free-kick attempt, but it was sadiq who restored our pride with a cool close range finish. sadiq ended the day with a brace, while kecyk used his usual predatory "curik ayam" instincts to slot home his 5th goal of the season.
brilliantly, we managed to hold on to the lead till the end, despite a late handball scare, the final score was somehow fair to us, considering the rough treatment we received.
well done Prestigio, we are moving ahead towards promotion. CHEERS!

in a game where we outplayed and outclassed FZE, drawing was frustrating. but that's Prestigio. what we need is a wake up call.

the only two teams left in the league that has lost only 1 match. expect a tight clash as both teams can win it. unfortunately in the last meeting, FZE won. 5-4 was the score, but lots of positive can be taken from that match. now that that we've got the momentum, and coming from an almost heroic performance against Raven, we've got no reasons to not win against FZE. keep that swift attacking play going, and ensure full concentration and communication at the back. we win this match, and we will definitely be in hot position to promote to div 2.
